PAPER! Did you all know there was a world of gorgeous paper out there? I had no idea. This is going to cause a ruckas in my household - I'm gonna have to start a new hobbty.
I came across these lovelies this weekend. The designs are so cool. I even saw some Amy Butler embellishments.
My cardmaking skills are rather basic at the moment. I don't know that I'll ever get super fancy...I just like touching the pretty papers.
I also decided to take the Sunshine fabrics in a different direction. Here is the start of the new project, which is making me much happier. More to come.

I like your new project using the Sunshine fabrics.
I think this pattern works better with the sunshine fabrics.
The card looks good. I have tried making cards, mine are quite basic too.
Yeah, better choice for sure! And isn't it funny how those fabrics turned on you?
Cute cards too--watch it though--those scrapbook people are always trying to get our quilters! LOL They are so similar that it's no wonder there so much crossover!

I walk through the scrapbooking section saying, "I DO NOT need/want/can afford/have space for another craft!" I love the papers and the stickers and..........I might try cards! LOL
The new blocks are wonderful, funny how that little bit of green makes such a big difference in the over all.
I like what you are doing with your sunshine fabrics. They should make you happy, after all that is what sunshine usually does :-)
Thanks for the comment on my blog! It was nice 'meeting' you.
You know I was not a huge fan of this fabric line, but looking at you blocks and the colors, and arrangment- I love it!
Cute trick or treat card too!
Love your Sunshine Fabrics project, it's looking beautiful!
I am also a part-time scrapper! Lol* It's the paper that draws you in isn't it? Lol* I even bought some of that spider web paper...have you a Dollar Tree in your neck of the woods? They have got some beautiful paper and lots of stickers and tags and other supplies - and you can't beat the price - just a buck. (I'd rather invest my money in fabric since that's my number one hobby lol*** So I bargain shop the scrapbooking supplies! Lol*)
Hi JoAnna- found you here through a friend's link! I like what you're doing with the blues and yellows. My mom tried to get me into Scrapbooking and papers, but i can only handle 1 addiction!
My sister Andrea has always been nuts about beautiful paper. I thought she was eccentric until one day she showed me some exquisite papers she had bought. I was hooked from that minute on, but still am more addicted to fabric!
I love paper! I found paper before I found fabric. You can make great envelopes to go with those cards (even using art from magazines), and you can also try origami. I'm not very good at it, but it's lots of fun. I once belonged to an origami club in Ann Arbor, where two of the stars were Laura and her elderly husband, known affectionately as "Laurigami and the Older Folder"!
hope you are doing well... I see you've been MIA for awhile.
